In Spotify you will find much more than music albums to listen to. You can also take language courses, laugh at comedy or relax with meditation exercises. In Spotify you will also find podcasts, including the iCulture podcast . Ideal for listening if you do not want to install a special podcast app . Note: listening to podcasts on the iPad is not yet possible with Spotify.
Browse Spotify podcasts
When you start the Spotify app, you will see the option Podcasts in the menu (see image). If you tap on this, you can browse through the full range of podcasts, which recently expanded.
Search for podcasts on Spotify
If you are looking for a specific podcast, for example that of iCulture, then you can best go looking for it. To do this, use the Search button at the bottom of the screen. With a search you will find our podcast immediately.

Listen to podcasts in Spotify
Listening to podcasts works in the same way as listening to a song. If you have Spotify Premium, you can store the audio offline to listen to without an internet connection. You play as usual with the play and pause buttons.
You have the following options in Spotify while listening to a podcast:
- Download podcast to listen offline
- Put podcast in the queue
- Share with friends
- Timer for sleep mode
With the timer you can fall asleep while listening, although we do not hope that this happens with the podcast! Spotify is not a specialized podcast player, so you miss features like shortening silences or dynamically adjusting the speed. However, you can change the speed of play from 0.5x to 3x.
