Always answer phone calls via the iPhone speaker

Do you want to record the phone with the iPhone speaker Digital Technology as standard? In this tip you can read how to set that up for all telephone and FaceTime Audio conversations.

Are you someone who often calls in the car? Then you do that hands free. To prevent you from having to press buttons when you receive a call, it would be handy if you can immediately record the iPhone via the speaker. This way you always answer phone calls via the speaker.

iPhone speaker for all phone calls

If your phone is paired with a Bluetooth car radio, you can make the phone call via the car's speakers, but not everyone has that. That's why we explain how you ensure that phone calls always arrive via the built-in speaker of the iPhone . You can do this via the Accessibility features, which you will find in the Settings app. It also applies immediately to all calls you make via FaceTime Audio .

This is how you proceed:

1. Open the Intellings app on your iPhone.
2. Go to General> Accessibility and scroll down until you see the Interaction Intermediateheader.
3. Select Audio path calls .
4. Set it to Speaker .

If you make or receive calls now, the speaker function automatically turns on. You can still manually switch it off via the loudspeaker button in the window (the white button in the left image)
